From the moment we met we were inseparable. We shared 24 years together and 3 wonderful boys. He passed recently but forever is part of me.
We would like to thank you for supporting Amanda and William in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
I was just 16 years old when we met and it was completely by fate that we did. We both ended up attending a cookout that neither of us planned to go to. We instantly connected and quickly fell in love. A year later we were married and shortly after that we welcomed our first-born son. Within our first 10 years of marriage, we added 2 more boys, and the love continued to grow. We had our ups and downs and there were a few times we tried to call it quits but we always found our way back.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?24 years of memories make it hard to choose just one. There was our wedding anniversary where we attended a Keith Urban concert because of some free tickets that I managed to score. We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at our local ballpark and exchanged engraved wedding rings with a quote from one of his favorite video games.
What would you do with $20,000?Right now, $20,000 would help us immensely. We hadn't planned on losing him this soon and have no money set aside for expenses such as a funeral. It's not really something you talk about when you're in your forties. I would use the money to help provide for our boys and to try to begin moving forward again with life.
