How did your love story begin?

After not dating for a while, I took a chance and liked Joe on a dating app in July 2022. We matched and started talking the same night. Joe has a radio show online and I started listening, finding we have the same great taste in music. We shared our stories of how we each ended up back at home on Long Island, as we both had gone through life changing events 3 years earlier. The similarities within our lives felt synchronous. We felt that after looking for so long, we finally found each other.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Thinking of all we have done together already and the vacations we have taken, its hard to pick just one favorite memory. An early favorite is from our 4th date. We were at a beach on the LI sound. The sky looked crazy that night and was never ending. We were sitting on a life guards chair and as we laughed and learned about each other, gazing out into the abyss, we both saw a shooting star. It was an amazing moment and we still talk about how perfect it was.

What would you do with $20,000?

We became engaged in April 2025. We are planning a wedding and looking for a home for our family- Joe, myself, my daughter, Emma, my cat, Stella and Joe's dog, Leila . We want to start our lives together as a family in our own home. We would use most of the money towards a down payment on a house in New York so that we can stay close to our families. We'd use some of it for our wedding too (2026!)
