How did your love story begin?

We met dancing 22 years ago- sweaty, unbothered, vibing like we had zero business clicking that hard. One night turned into phone calls until sunrise and flights across time zones. East Coast meets West Coast, and somehow it worked. Long-distance tried it, but our connection had better moves. From late-night “miss yous” to playlists that still hit- we didn’t just catch feelings, we caught a whole damn vibe. And we’ve been dancing with it ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We’ve had epic adventures- hiking, traveling, laughing until our sides hurt. But when I opened my eyes after brain surgery and saw him there, we both knew: this wasn’t just a relief, it was a reset. A second chance to slow down, dig deeper, and chase joy with even more intention. Life gave us a plot twist, and instead of breaking us, it cracked us wide open -in the best, weirdest, most beautiful way. And our best, favorite memory? It’s still ahead.

What would you do with $20,000?

My rare chronic illness tried to dim our light, but we keep rising. With $20,000, we’d bring safety to our stormy nights with a generator for our apartment, breathe new life into our small business that is built on love and grit, and give back—to the rescue that brought us our furbaby, and the foundation fighting for a cure no one else is seeking. This gift would be more than relief- it would be fuel for our purpose, and a ripple of hope far beyond our own story.
