Connect How did your love story begin?

We were at a friend’ bday party junior year of HS and as soon as we locked eyes, we just knew. Couple weeks later we were at a movie night and sat next to each other. He left to use the restroom and I “stole” his spot. He came back and said, “ur in my spot.” I jokingly said, “I know, just sit on my lap.” He said, “why don’t you sit on mine?” So I did. I was nervous the entire night! When it was time to leave, I asked him for his number. Talked for 2 weeks, first date on his dirtbike, rest is hx!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We just renewed our vows in Maui this year since it was our 10 year wedding anniversary/15 year dating anniversary. We didn’t say personal vows on our wedding day, so it was nice to read vows we wrote to each other this time around. We went around the island for a couple of hours taking photos in different places and it was magical. The vow part was our favorite since it was so intimate! Just us and the photographer. It really brought us closer! We never take photos together so it was nice!

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly, pay off any debt we have. We bought a house in 2022 and one thing after another keeps breaking. Both bathrooms decided to leak and flood our house within months of each other last year. Our water heater went out like 6 months ago. Now our AC just broke. This house has been somewhat of a nightmare. We know we are lucky to have a house we own, but it’s been a money pit lately. We always keep thinking, “what’s next?!” The $20000 will help us so much!
