Connect How did your love story begin?

4 years ago, Allie walked into the brewery I was working at to grab a birthday beer. The first time I saw her, I felt like I had been hit by a truck. She asked to try some sour beers and I totally blacked out. I fumbled with her credit card and ended up giving it right back because I was so flustered. Allie came back a few days later in hopes of catching me, and I’m glad she did. I have been undeniably in love with Allie since the day that we met and we have been inseparable ever since. - Sam

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is when Sam accidentally told me she loved me. Early on when we were dating, I was leaving her house and she was bending down to pick up a sock off the floor. I told her I’d see her later and she, seemingly subconsciously, responded “bye, I love you”. She froze with a look of utter panic and tried to back track. I had already told her that I’d marry her so this was very welcome and I couldn’t help but laugh. It was a very cute and funny moment. -Allie

What would you do with $20,000?

For a long time, we’ve talked about having kids together and what that would mean to us. Being a same sex couple means added logistics involved. Having the finances to back our dream and kickstart our IVF journey would be life changing and incredible.
