Like many modern love stories, ours started over the internet. Our first date was a ten-hour phone call during peak COVID. After confirming the other wasn’t a catfish - or contagious - Bobby showed up at my door on a Tuesday with taco fixings. We were married six weeks later. Taco Tuesdays have never been the same.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Right after we got married, we went on a romantic hike near Rehoboth Beach - until we realized we were covered in ticks. We tore down the hill, swatting ourselves like we were on fire. I slipped on pine needles and totally wiped out. Bobby rushed over, super concerned, and I just blurted out - between laughing and crying - “I peed my pants!” We couldn’t stop laughing. We still have a photo from that day. It’s one of our all-time favorites.
What would you do with $20,000?We don’t have kids of our own, but we’ve used our small sailboat company - and our social media - to help lift the city we love. From showing off Baltimore nonprofits to raising money for women, kids, and clean water, @SailLocal has become more than just pretty videos - it’s a way to help. If we won, we’d try and grow that impact. And yeah - we’d probably celebrate with tacos…
