Connect How did your love story begin?

We met on Tinder nearly seven years ago, living just blocks apart in South Minneapolis. We quickly bonded over food, long walks, and exploring the city together. Two months in, Scott moved back home to Duluth for work, but our connection was too strong to let go. We spent nine months long-distance, visiting each other and growing closer. Since he lived at home, I was welcomed into his family early on. We’ve been building a life full of love and adventure ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is getting engaged in Central Park, NYC, in March 2025. It was so special and romantic—we even carved our names into the gazebo where it happened. Afterward, we explored the city together, soaking in the moment. We designed my ring using heirlooms from both our families—his great-grandmother’s stone, gold from his family’s jewelry, and my grandpa’s chain—making it uniquely ours, filled with meaning, love, and the story we’re building together.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20K, we would fund our dream wedding and honeymoon. We want a day that feels true to us—filled with incredible food, lots of dancing, and all the people we love most. Our goal is to create a meaningful, joyful celebration that reflects our story and brings our closest friends and family together. We’d also use the money to create unforgettable honeymoon memories, starting the next chapter of our adventure with love, excitement, and connection.
