Connect How did your love story begin?

On the first day of class he came in the door and I remember seeing him and thinking that this person was going to matter to me. He sat behind me and for the course of the year we became friends, that summer we began talking on the phone. He lived 30 minutes away and I didn't have a license, he didn't have a car. So every night we talked and fell more and more in love. It was wildfire. He was my first kiss, he'll be my last kiss; our fire burns brighter daily. -Ali

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We were on one of our first dates in highschool. It was the middle of winter and we were taking a late night stroll through a park. All the trees were lit up for the holidays. I can still see the sparkle in her eyes as we exchanged gifts with each other and embraced in the warm glow of LEDs reflecting off the snow. I knew I would love her forever then. -Chance

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use some responsibly, debt, bills, etc.. and use some for a vow renewal trip with our kids. When Chance and I finally got back together, we were poor & a lot of people had a lot of opinions about our relationship because I was religious and he is not. We chose to elope in his living room. There was no fanfare, no gifts. Chance has 2 children from a previous marriage so we really didn't have money for excess. Though we wouldn't change a thing about that day, we'd love a new moment.
