We were both subbing in for a friend’s kickball team for our local HotMess Sports league one Sunday afternoon - I was in the outfield, he was covering shortstop, and on the way to our spots I just said, “hi, I’m Alex, by the way”, and he smiled back at me and we both felt some sort of spark that we hadn’t felt before, which quickly led to our first date (even though I still don’t admit it was a date).
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our travels, for sure. Whether it be the impromptu drives after work to get in a quick sunset beach walk, flying in hot air balloons over Aztec ruins in Mexico, or visiting DC for world pride to dance our legs off, we always make sure traveling and exploring the world remains a top priority of our relationship. We already have 6 trips planned for next year alone - can’t wait!
What would you do with $20,000?We’re both in the medical field, meaning we have thousands of dollars in loans to continue chipping away. That, and also we are saving to buy our first home together (but mostly for our two basset hounds so they can have a yard). And, of course, more traveling together to explore the world (and visit our moms).
