We met at a surf and music festival ( La Izquierda) in Galveston, Texas. Some friends invited me (Loren) to a beach house where Alex was also staying. We hit it off that night over a shared love of music, the ocean and beer. After a month of dating, Alex invited me on a surf trip to Mexico. I knew right then and there he was the one. On that trip, I realized I found my forever adventure partner. Since then we have continued going to see live music, surfing, and building our lives together.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?When Alex proposed at the same music festival we met at on the festival stage! He coordinated with all of the festival organizers, my family and closest friends to make it happen. He even arranged to have confetti cannons go off when I said yes. That day, the air was filled with love and confetti! After we got off stage we were showered with hugs and congratulations from everyone. Then we boogied all night. It was unforgettable.
What would you do with $20,000?Throw an epic wedding! We would invite ALL our family and friends to Galveston, Texas (where we met and got engaged) to celebrate love at our favorite spot the Hotel Lucine. We would eat, drink and boogie all night long on their amazing roof top patio right next to the beach with everyone we love.
