Connect How did your love story begin?

It began about 15 years ago, 2010. Josh was a senior in high school, I was a Sophomore. We shared lots of the same friends and I just remember seeing the most handsome smile on Facebook. Eventually I saw him in person and courageously asked, “So you’re Josh?”. It wasn’t long until we started chatting more, getting to know one another. We fell In love and lasted 4 years. We came to San Antonio together for college and although the love was still there, we sadly wanted different things.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Definitely reuniting after our 11 year breakup. We followed one another on socials and quickly reached out to see how the other was doing. Immediately we initiated a meet up so that we could catch up after all those years. We re-met at a bar and man I wish I could put our reunion into words. Seeing him the first time again was just pure magic. The same beautiful smile, this time scruffier and grown. The way we looked at one another and spoke about everything, I knew I found my way back home.

What would you do with $20,000?

After reuniting with Josh that night we were inseparable. This time we had more clarity and intention and the overwhelming knowledge that we were made for each other. Josh prayed for me and I prayed for him and we finally came back home to one another. Six months later we were engaged! This money would help us achieve the wedding we have always dreamed of. We both have big Mexican families so we can’t imagine celebrating our love without our loved ones. This would be a fairytale dream come true.
