He asked me to homecoming freshman year, reconnected 6 years later, and instantly knew it was love that was meant to be from the start.
We would like to thank you for supporting Alex and Erika in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met in high school when he asked me to homecoming our freshman year. We were young and shy, and life pulled us apart. Six years later, fate brought us back together, and it was instant. We’ve been inseparable ever since. It’s a story of timing, second chances, and a love that was always meant to find its way back. What started as a teenage crush turned into something so real, effortless, deep, and full of genuine connection. Some love stories really do come full circle.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memories are the spontaneous trips we take together. It’s just us, the road, and nature. Even with full-time jobs, school, and our own place at 21, we always found time to explore. Hiking through the mountains, watching sunsets after skiing, laughing in the car, it’s in those quiet moments we feel the most alive. It’s not about where we go, but that we’re doing what we love, together.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use the $20,000 to start saving for our first home. We’ve been working full-time, going to school, and managing life together, so having a place to truly call our own is our biggest dream. This would help us build a solid foundation for our future and take one step closer to everything we’ve been working so hard for.
