Connect How did your love story begin?

We lived blocks away for years but never met until we both moved across town, just a mile away from each other and matched on Hinge. We talked about his mechanical keyboard collection and disagreed on capitalism. But when he walked into the Ethiopian restaurant Zoma, I stood up & we hugged. We went to a local story telling show, then closed down the bar. We haven't been apart since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

On our 4th date he proposed in his kitchen after making dinner. I said, "I never imagined this long term," in relation to living in Ohio. His whole face broke. He thought I was talking about us. I apologized and clarified then teased him, "Oh you want this forever; you're already in love with me; you want to marry me?" To which he replied, "Well you're not saying no!" And I never have. We then went salsa dancing in a very hot church basement then walked around & found boxes of tiles in the trash

What would you do with $20,000?

We are currently moving in together and planning a wedding. We love to cook together. We can map our relationship by different meals and desserts. We would be able to remodel the kitchen while paying off debts. Hopefully having some left over for a culinary filled honeymoon!
