We both worked at DQ and quickly became friends. I asked him to hang out with me and it was an AMAZING day. Little did we know that one hang out would lead to us being inseparable. We didn’t care what we were doing as long as we were together. Everytime I had to drop him off at his home we would continue to sit in the car and just talk for hours till the sun came up because we didn’t want to leave each other. We knew very early on we would always be in each other’s lives no matter what.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The engagement of course! It was our anniversary we had already gone out to eat and we stopped by my parents for a bit. He said he had to “get my gift” so I waited in the room. When I came out to the backyard he was there with lights all around him, a bouquet of flowers, knelt down on one knee with his guitar in hand. He started to play You Love Me by Kimya Dawson. He gave a speech then asked if I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him in marriage and we sobbed while I said yes yes YES!
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we would use that for our little backyard wedding and then the remainder for getting started on building our forever home. We plan to be done with everything by the time we turn 30 so it would give us a really good head start for our forever future together.
