How did your love story begin?

Our love story began on Hinge—two hearts, 3 years divorced, rediscovering freedom and possibility. In just seven weeks, deep connection, shared values, and a Toni Morrison quote led us to a rooftop wedding with just us and the pastor. It was fast but it was right. At 49 and 55, we chose each other fully, proof that it’s never too late to find your person.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our first trip to Ghana. Traveling abroad pulls you close in ways everyday life doesn’t. You have to adapt, communicate, and figure things out as a team. From the heat to the history to the energy of the streets, we moved through it all together. We saw our people in full beauty and learned more about each other too. We realized we make a great team, and that trip was just the start of many more.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we would start a club for dating couples like us, older and intentional, looking to build community. Not for swinging but for connection, support, and shared adventures. We would host meetups, plan travel, focus on wellness, and create space for real conversations about love and growth. Because community is everything, especially when it comes to love.
