We met through a friend I went to high school with in Boston, Massachusetts, who somehow ended up going to Texas A&M and becoming friends with Grant. We were introduced several years ago and have been on and off talking since. We used to call for 11+ hours a day, talking all day. We started dating last year, and both of us have never been happier!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first date is definitely my favorite. Since we were long distance, our first real date was actually the first time we met in person. He flew up to Washington D.C. with his friends for an event, and I can’t even describe how fast we connected. I am a shy person and he instantly broke down my awkward walls. It was love at first sight, it felt like a movie. I felt fireworks and he still sends shivers down my spine to this day.
What would you do with $20,000?We both just graduated college and have big dreams. We would definitely either use it to get our own place together and finally end long distance, or put it in a high yield savings account to invest in our future, potentially start our own company when he gets out of the marine corps.
