Connect How did your love story begin?

We met online after both getting out of unhealthy relationships and clicked instantly. We sleep on call every night and see each other once every few months. We know we want to spend the rest of our lives together, and everyday we grow, spend quality time together from afar, and make it work as high school sweethearts who have at least 4-6 years before we can reside in the same area. We aren’t just lovers, we’re best friends, safe spaces, confidants, family. It’s been known the second we met.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

If you ask him, he would say taking me to his secret spot by the lake with his camera, a blanket and a bag of snacks to celebrate our anniversary. Cuddling under the most beautiful sunset with our favourite foods. Now my favourite, was him making brownies, chicken, and wedges for dinner for us and my parents and we all agreed it was the best meal we’ve ever had. He loves my parents and they love him which is a dream come true because they are everything to me. He really is part of the family.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the money together, to pay off some of his college tuition fees, to help my parents (father works 12hr night shifts 6 days a week constantly burnt out, and mother is incredibly ill unable to work) and give them peace of mind so they aren’t so worried and burdened by finances at their age and poor physical condition. We would put some into savings, and some into helping me start my own photography business.
