Connect How did your love story begin?

Harrington and I met nearly a decade ago, then life whisked us apart. He became a little spark on my Instagram feed—always popping up, always making me smile. One day, he posted an image where he had traveled to both the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean so I reached out. He invited me on a date at a traffic circle where he jokingly proposed but I just knew he was my person. Now, sharing life with my best friend feels like magic—and I’ll cherish him with my whole heart, forever.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our wedding day is one of our sweetest memories. We wanted something intimate and what would have been my parents 55th wedding anniversary was approaching, my dad suddenly passed away 5 years ago. April is not typically sunny nor warm where we are but this day it sure was. The judge moved the ceremony from inside a small room to outside on the steps of City Hall. A lot of people were driving by honking their horns which made the day feel more special. I’m pretty sure my dad had a hand in it.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, Harrington and I would finally take the trip we’ve been dreaming about—exploring new places, soaking in new cultures, and making memories that last a lifetime. We’d also use part of it to ease some of our financial stress by paying down a few debts. It would be the perfect mix of adventure and peace of mind, helping us grow closer while building a more secure future together.
