Connect How did your love story begin?

Adryan’s mom actually introduced us. In 2012, I was working in property management and happened to be working in the building where his mother lived. Adryan was living in Philadelphia, working as a professional dancer. He was in town one day and she introduced us. I actually thought he was weird and wasn’t that interested but he pursued me…for four years. I had been having moderate success in relationships but nothing really stuck. So I decided, “why not?”

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We may have different answers but I think that our favorite memories come from when we travel together. We make it a point to travel when we can. A couple of years ago we took a trip to Europe for my birthday and we had such a blast. I still think back to how I felt being in those places I never thought I’d get to see. TJ, however may say when we went somewhere that had a beach. He loves the water! That makes sense. He is part sea creature after all.

What would you do with $20,000?

Winning $20,000 would be so helpful to us. In March ‘24, our home was struck by lightning and caught on fire, with us and our dogs inside. What followed was 15 months of unbelievable stress and financial strain. That money would help us to ease that burden and be able to close a very troublesome chapter of our lives.
