My fiancé Eric and I met in 2021 through an online dating app. We instantly connected over our alma maters, me a graduate of the Mecca, the Hilltop, the illustrious Howard University, and he a pirate who’d made himself a Home By the Sea, Hampton University. Through our playful rivalry, it quickly became evident that although we may disagree on who’s the Real HU, are goals, passions and values align perfectly in all the ways that matter.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first vacation together in Punta Cana. It was the first time we spent an extended period of time since starting out as a long-distance couple. This was the time that made it clear we would be together forever. We created new memories relaxing on the beach, exploring cenotes, and taking an ATV ride through the countryside of Punta Cana.
What would you do with $20,000?We will use the $20,000 to kick off this wedding season in style! A fun photoshoot around D.C., a festive engagement party for family and friends, and use the rest to make our wedding truly unforgettable.
