How did your love story begin?

We met the night before thanksgiving through an online dating app and I moved in on the first date. When we met we didn’t know the other was fighting demons and working through it made us come out the other side stronger than we were before because we healed together. We fought our demons together and together we overcame it all. 5 months after we met we eloped in Las Vegas and have only continued to become a stronger couple.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

They always say it’s about the journey, not the destination and it couldn’t be more true for us. Our favorite memory together is the bus ride to Las Vegas and the bus ride back. Seeing the country together and exploring the different bus stops together was its own adventure to us. Coming back we hit a snag in our travels because the bus broke down in ABQ. We didn’t have enough money to get a motel, much less a taxi to get to the motel. So we camped at the bus stop and it’s a fond memory for us.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would create another memory if given the opportunity. We plan on taking a cruise to Mexico and exploring the pyramids together, the cenotes together, and overall just be together. We constantly work 6 days a week with his only day off being Sunday and mine being Saturday. We never get to see each other, so if given the opportunity we’d like to go on another adventure together.
