How did your love story begin?

We met at church. I was coming with my 8yr old daughter and he was coming with his 2 teen sons. I was standing in line for homecoming lunch talking with another guy and he stepped right up to me and asked if he could give me his number in case I ever needed him. I laughed and said sure. We began texting and talking on fb. He told me he had nothing to offer me except to love me for the rest of my life and for 10 yrs now he has done just that. He loved me through breast cancer & many surgeries.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Becoming grandparents has to be number 1 but watching our children get married and leave the nest has been such proud moments. We have also served in church together with the children’s ministry and been so blessed to teach kids. We have a major love for animals and would adopt so many of we could.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would first tithe to our church. We only have 1 car that is not in the best condition. It has a gas leak so it always smells of gas inside. We would get another car for me because my migraines get bad with the gas smell. We would also just use it to pay bills because he is disabled and I haven’t been able to work since my cancer diagnosis. Since I lost my breasts I would probably buy some new clothes that fit better.
