Connect How did your love story begin?

We met in an Irish Pub in Los Angeles. My friend and I hadn't been there in a long time so we went. It was a Monday night and little did we know at midnight is the start of "Metal Monday". It was quite entertaining to say the least. Adam was the cutest guy in the room. I "accidentally" kept bumping into him and my apology became the ice breaker.He said he was glad he came out, since he normally doesn't but needed some "me time" because he is a full time single dad to his then 12 year old son.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Aside from the countless laughs, dancing in the living room, and meals cooked together, my favorite memories so far are the ones shared traveling. We surprised my mom on mothers day by flying back to my hometown for the first time together. She was ecstatic, the northern lights were out, and I got to show him all the beauty of where I grew up. I also planned a weekend trip to San Diego. We went and saw caves, ate amazing food, walked along the beach and found hidden Tiki bars.

What would you do with $20,000?

This 20,000 would give us such a refreshing start. We both have some school debt. We would like to move in together and plan our wedding, but In Los Angeles that can be difficult. I have waited such a long time to meet my person, and so being able to wake up to them every day would be such a blessing. Since he is a full time single parent that doesn't get any assistance financially, we have not been able to put much aside for a new place to host our love and our family and friends.
