Connect How did your love story begin?

We are High School sweethearts whose love story has stood the test of time, two different cultures, two different worlds. On July 5th we celebrate 23 years of marriage, and looking back, it’s clear that every obstacle we’ve faced has only made our bond stronger. From young love to raising a family, we’ve been through it all moments of joy, seasons of struggle, and everything in between. But no matter what life threw our way, we always came back to one unshakable truth: we’re better together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories together was our unforgettable hike up Kokohead Trail in Hawaii. Together, we climbed over 1,000 rugged steps straight up a mountain, each one a challenge, but also a moment shared. With every step, we encouraged each other, laughed through the burn, and pushed past our limits. At the summit, we were rewarded with a breathtaking view of the island below an endless stretch of blue ocean and the city bathed in golden sunlight.

What would you do with $20,000?

Today, we’re writing the next chapter of our journey with Zofia’s Dress Shop, our new formalwear boutique in North Las Vegas, NV, named after our only daughter. This business is more than a dream — it’s a symbol of resilience, family. Being awarded $20,000 would be a blessing; it would allow us to continue to build Zofia’s by growing our inventory, our brand by investing in various marketing strategies, and most importantly, helping young girls and women celebrate their special day!
