We met on Christmas Day over a set of walkie talkies. I was in California visiting my family, and he was 2 blocks over, at his aunts house. We when we initially connected, we each gave fake names, but ended up talking until the batteries ran out. Before they did, we exchanged email addresses and the rest is history. We’ve been married 21 years!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are so many memories to choose from, but if I had to choose one, it would be our 10th anniversary trip, when we traveled around New England. We visited 5 states, sampled mead, saw the beautiful Rhode Island coast line and stayed in a haunted hotel. It was a beautiful memory.
What would you do with $20,000?We would help my 81-year-old mom get a new water heater and pay off her car so she can finally retire. Then we would pay off our debt, and put the rest into savings so we can finally work toward buying our own home.
