Our love began in a house full of lost souls. My best friend took us in—me, fleeing a toxic home, and her, grieving her parents. We connected over late nights watching TV and playing games, quietly falling in love. We moved into her parents' house, still heavy with loss. There we built a life from nothing, faced heartbreak, and lost it all. What we have now, we built ourselves. It wasn’t perfect, but it was real.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory was asking her to marry me on the Georgetown waterway boardwalk during a solar eclipse. We were surrounded by people, but I waited until the sun was completely blocked before I popped the question. It felt like the whole world paused just for us in that perfect moment.
What would you do with $20,000?If I won $20,000, I would use it to help my wife fulfill her dreams despite her stage 4 cancer. With the money, we’d travel to places she’s always wanted to see and create unforgettable memories together. Every moment counts, and I want to give her joy and comfort while racing against the clock. This money would be a gift of time, love, and hope for both of us.
