How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in a coffee shop in downtown Flagstaff. He walked me from my apartment through the snow and slush, holding onto me so I wouldn’t fall. When we arrived he paid for our coffee and we chatted for hours. The next day, we went to Lowell Observatory to stargaze, but not before we went to Chilis and I forced him to watch twilight! In the car that night, we shared music and talked for hours. We knew we had found something special.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories as a couple is the first trip we took together to Sedona. We drove in my jeep grand Cherokee to visit the red rocks and it was magical. One of our favorite things to do together is travel, so our first experience stands out. We got good Mexican food, walked around the shops, got coffee and went on a nature walk. It was in Sedona, where we were really starting to fall in love with each other.

What would you do with $20,000?

As a long distance couple from two different countries, $20,000 would really change our lives. Visas are thousands and thousands of dollars and finances are currently the main barrier preventing us being together. We would use the money to help fund the visa process, help us pay rent at our first apartment and use it to visit each other while we wait for visa approval!
