Connect How did your love story begin?

Growing up in the same small town, our orbits always just missed each other. When I came home from college to celebrate my 21st birthday with my family, I saw him working at Ron's Pizza... Flash forward a few months and we were in a distance relationship, where I even learned to drive on the highway to visit him, and he returned the favor coming up to see me nearly every other weekend. About year later we moved in together, where we tackle homeownership and pet parenthood as a team, daily!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our first season coaching soccer, Reece, who had never played soccer but a competitive athlete, was eager to train up the 8 yr olds to compete for the championship. Our little team of mostly first year players and kiddos afraid of the ball meant we had to focus more on the basics. His competitive drive tempered with my positive affirmations was hilarious to see. We didn't exactly have the season we hoped for, but it was a total blast. We lost every game except for a triumphant last game!

What would you do with $20,000?

From a much needed new fence to keep our escape artists in (our dogs) to Reece's car dying, finances have been tight. We have wanted to get married for while now, but a wedding hasn't been in the cards financially. With this money, we would finally get to plan the day of our dreams, without sacrificing for our most important expenses: the guest list and the bar. Both extraverted members of the same small town, it seems like everyone has a piece of our story, and we hope to celebrate accordingly!
