It all began, at UCLA in 1977, when we were just sophomores. I saw my future husband playing basketball and decided, without knowing anything about him that I was going to marry him someday. He had decided that he did not want a girlfriend while studying for his 2 degrees in psychology and economics. I decided otherwise for him. Well, that someday took a few years, but we married in 1982, while he was in Law school and Business school at the same time.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memories are when we had our children, Michael first, then 2 years later Melissa. Since my husband was adopted, these 2 babies we brought into the world were his first real blood relatives. He was overwhelmed.
What would you do with $20,000?I would definitely share with my children, and also help others in need, which I do on a regular basis….. buying school supplies for needy children, giving gifts to families at Christmas time, turkeys during thanksgiving, and other countless needs of our communities nearby. We are comfortable with our financial independence and that just tells me that I need to share.
