We matched on hinge in 2021 and met at a time when neither of us realized we were exactly what the other needed. On our first date we stayed up all night talking and ended the night with Jack in the box. Since then, it’s been a blur of adventures, family time, lazy couch cuddles, deep conversations, growth, laughter, moving in together and being absolute best friends. It wasn’t just love at first sight—it was love that felt easy, real, and exactly right.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Driving Abbey’s mom’s car from California to Chicago. Passing through Utah Johnson wanted to car camp up this hill so we could catch the sunrise at Sunrise Point in Bryce Canyon. Romantic, except… the car got stuck halfway up a snowy hill. With no help in sight, we had to team up—finding rocks to dig through snow, and trying every creative hack to get the tires moving. It was freezing and chaotic but we still had fun and laughed through it all.
What would you do with $20,000?We would take a trip to Vietnam to see Johnson’s family he hasn’t seen in years and some he hasn’t even met. We love to travel together exploring and trying new food and seeing family would make it even better.
