Connect How did your love story begin?

In 2024, I was at my wits end and had sworn off dating. I was meant for solitude aside from the just opened “no one understands me feline ranch”. I was performing as Morticia in a local production of The Addams Family and there he was. In the audience. Direct eye contact. And in one moment, everything changed. As the performance went on, I could think of nothing else. Lucky for me, neither could he. He greeted me at the stage door. I proposed coffee. Followed by blushing and giggling.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We went to an arts festival together and I ordered a flavored ice from one of the trucks. The sign said, with my purchase, I would receive a Lei. It was forgotten and I came back to him and he said “Where’s your lei?” And I said “Oh it’s ok, they probably forgot!” And goes “No!” Runs to the truck and asks the lady working if we could possibly get one in the sweetest manner. And he brought it to me and placed it around my neck. And it’s such a beautiful depiction of everything that he is.

What would you do with $20,000?

So we would certainly designate some for student loans and savings but something I have always dreamed of is helping fund my high schools theatre program and provide them their own space to perform. Acting is something that’s so huge for both Aaron and I. We both grew up in the theatre. He and I work professionally in the industry. And my high school theatre director was the reason I got into Broadway college so we would LOVE to sew into that program together as we don’t want to lose it!
