Our love story began like all do-with a “chance” meeting as college orientation leaders. Of course, we now realize it wasn’t chance- we were ALWAYS meant to be. From there, we’d go to the library every night to “study”, but would never get any work done, goofing off & debating pop culture opinions. She was the only girl I could argue with for 2 hrs that could make it feel like 2 mins. Eventually I told her I was crazy for her, asking her to take a chance on me with 1 date. The rest is history ;)

It’s hard to narrow down all of the amazing memories we’ve shared to just one, but we usually agree that our favorite is November 22nd, 2024 aka The Night Everything Changed. I had persuaded (asked over and over again until she said yes) Annie to go on a second date with me to the movies and Downtown Apex, and when we got back to our College Campus, I kissed her for the first time in the parking lot outside my dorm. “She Will Be Loved” by Maroon 5 was playing on the radio, & we were SO in love.

To be honest, we haven’t really thought that far ahead as to what we’d use the $20,000 for. We’ll see if we win the contest first before making grand plans lol. But, knowing us, we both have a bleeding heart for people, so I know we’d wanna take a part of it and do some kind of good with it. As for the rest, maybe a vacation somewhere warm? Or a security deposit on an apartment? And a BIG Lego Set.
