Our love story began in California over sushi, our favorite meal. From the very first conversation, we discovered we shared so much in common about our dreams and what we wanted from life. The dialogue flowed effortlessly, and we could have talked for hours.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Amy, an Air Force veteran based in South Carolina, and I, a government contractor in California, had been dating for a while when I decided it was time for a big change. I loaded up my truck with everything I owned, plus my two cats, and hit the road from California to South Carolina. Somewhere in the middle of Texas, in a little town called Schneider, I proposed. That cross-country road trip is something I’ll always remember.
What would you do with $20,000?We bought our new home together in downtown Spartanburg, SC—a 100-year-old house with tons of character. We love the location, but it’s definitely a fixer-upper and needs a lot of work. We’re excited to take on the challenge and make it our own.
