Kara Renee and I (ami) met at a work training in 2013. We are both American Sign Language interpreters and we immediately clicked. We became attached at the hip and when Kara left for 4 months to live out her last semester of grad school in Norway we texted and emailed every day morning and night, sharing Spotify play lists that were very poorly veiled love notes to one another. Upon her return to DC we became a couple only a few short weeks later. We married in 2024.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?All of our trips! We go to Italy once a year and have done Paris several times. Any trip that takes us on an adventure is one we cherish.
What would you do with $20,000?Our plan is to be able to move to Italy and retire in Sicily. We would use it to pay off our credit card debt and with what’s left over we will put in our relocation fund.
