Jared was working with a dance company that toured for an educational in Texas at a neighboring college while I was in undergrad. We matched on Tinder and spoke for 3 months before meeting in-person. We instantly fell in love during our first official date at the Houston Zoo. We committed to long distance.I would visit NY for spring breaks and summers and he would visit me in TX during Christmas and the fall. We closed the distance in 2020 when I moved to NY and we got married in September 2023.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our wedding! It was pouring rain and there was torrential flooding so we had to reschedule our photography session. But it was beautiful and intimate - just our parents and our close friend officiated. We had a beautiful ceremony on a rooftop in park slope and had a great meal after. It was perfect.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d love to buy a house here in Brooklyn! We want to have a second bedroom where we can set up our dual gaming setups and have a small reading nook, and get more cats!
