Flash back to elementary school when we met amidst that 6th grade awkwardness we became fast friends. The years came and went and our friendship remained. The transition into high school was easy with a steadfast hand to hold. Sixteen couldn’t have been sweeter for us when we officially became a couple. Through life’s biggest moments, it’s toughest battles, 18 years later we have made a life and a love story. Two beautiful sons and our dog, we’re among the lucky ones in love with my best friend.

My husband always says he can remember the first time he saw me on the school bus in my life guard sweatshirt (hello 90’s fashion) and knew he wanted to marry me. For myself- my favorite memory as a couple is bringing our sons into the world with my husband as my biggest cheerleader with a close call, but getting me to the hospital just in time to not have them in the parking lot. Luckily everyday is a new treasured memory we get to make together.

Happiness can’t be bought but it would definitely help pay bills. Student loans are expensive, we would be able to pay some off and add to our sons college accounts to set them up in hopes they do not have as many student loans as we do. I am a teacher and my husband is a physical therapist. We both help others daily in our careers and are passionate about our jobs. We make ends meet living paycheck to paycheck but this money would definitely help and be life changing in many ways.
