We would like to thank you for supporting 2 Humans (Jayson & Kailee) in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We’ve known each other for years as musicians in the same city, we've shared stages and even taught at the same music studio for a while, but we never hung out outside of work. A few years ago Kailee's band needed a drummer and Jayson took the job. After just a few band practices we realized how much we had in common and quickly became best friends. Over time, the friendship we built turned into the most amazing love and we've been together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We’ve made so many amazing memories together that it’s hard to choose just one. A recent favorite is our three-week trip to Japan, where we explored everything from bustling cities to quiet ryokans in the countryside. There’s a saying that if you can navigate Japan’s rail system as a couple, you can handle anything—and we really enjoyed working together to find the right train. The trip was especially meaningful because it ended with Jayson proposing to Kailee in front of Mt. Fuji.
What would you do with $20,000?We are getting married in October of 2026, the $20,000 would go towards funding our special day and our honeymoon. :)
