We met on another business trip that neither of us wanted to be on. Our first year together was spent visiting each other around very busy schedules. While traveling more than half the year in our corporate careers, we realized we both wanted more—more control over our future, more purpose in our work, and a life we could build side by side. It’s funny how long distance lets you truly know someone’s heart.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?How to pick one?! Our first vacation together?! Our first apartment, or our first home? Deciding to leave the corp. world and start our own floral businesses?! Realizing that every moment spent together is a gift. We left successful corporate careers to go into business for ourselves. We took the best of corp. life and left the bureaucracy behind. We get to treat people kindly, make a difference and do some good. We truly are emotionally wealthy and we’re doing it together.
What would you do with $20,000?Our dream is to grow more than flowers. We want to expand flower farming, mentor agricultural students, help young entrepreneurs open flower shops, and strengthen an industry we love. If we can inspire others to build meaningful careers while bringing more beauty into the world, we’ve succeeded. The world needs more kindness, more positivity, and more flowers.
