We met in the USAF in Biloxi, MS. He was a student & I was permanent party. I wasn’t supposed to date him. Students were off limits. Friends introduced us after we both came out of bad relationships. The first night I met him I thought if he wasn’t just trying to get in my pants that I would marry him someday. He graduated & moved to Texas 1 month & a week later. During that month we were inseparable. 2 months after meeting we were engaged & 3 months after that we eloped.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?32 years there’s a lot of great memories. If I had to pick one, I’d say going to Greece, Italy & Malta for our 30th anniversary was my most recent favorite memory. We have never lost our spark through all the ups and downs of life and this cruise in Europe reminded us just how in love we are with one another. Great destinations, romantic dinners and just being unencumbered by outside noise and being absolutely present for one another made this a magical vacation.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d be responsible with most of it and pay down some debt or invest it but we would take some of it and fly to Japan for a week. We have been wanting to go so badly. To travel across Japan and experience their beautiful culture would be incredible.
