We are best friends, who like & live for each other. We met on a blind date and have been together for 40 years!!!!! Actually 42 🙏🏽

We were fixed up on a blind date on July 2nd, 1985. He was a bit aggressive so I told him that I didn’t have a home and that I lived in the gutter, so he wouldn’t find me. Then I felt bad for making him work so hard to get me. So I sent him 1 single rose with a note. He still has it to this day! We became a couple on July 28th. Then 2 weeks later, on August 11th, he asked to marry me. We were married on April 25th, 1987-best day ever!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I would have to say, for me, it’s the fact that I was diagnosed with cancer TWICE, had to have my breasts removed and he NEVER left my side; or made me feel any less of a woman. Cancer is NOT for pussies!! For him: I would say becoming grandparents. He just lights up. She is such a blessing.
What would you do with $20,000?To live out our bucket list of taking our granddaughter (who’s 7) to Disney World. That’s the ultimate goal. Especially since I got my Prince Phillip!
