We're the Yin to the other's Yang. Growing as individuals and as a couple through good times and bad, while smirking at life's absurdities.
We would like to thank you for supporting Jeff and Pam in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met online - on an 'alternative' adult site - each already separated. It's an unbelievable story that I actually detailed in a published memoir. I blogged on the site, saw her profile photo, and sent a message complimenting the 'classiness' of the pic. Her then-husband read my blog, liked it, then let her read it. I was stunned to hear from her. Long story short, we ended up meeting at a winery, endured what life threw at us, and 17 years later, here we are. It's a made-for-TV story!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Aside from being married under a deck on the beach during a rainstorm in Key West, our favorite shared memory would be living out of a 44' RV with our two dogs and traveling the country for roughly 2 years, visiting 'off the beaten path' locations. Spending a month at Mt. Shasta, exploring Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Paisley Park, and 24 states while experiencing nature, learning more about each other, and meeting people from every corner of life.
What would you do with $20,000?We're currently forming an educational non-profit organization. The $20,000 would greatly help us in fulfilling a dream to educate others in environmental issues, self-sustainability, the importance of nature's role in the mind/body/spirit connection, as well as shamanic and indigenous methods of healing through nature and ones connection to the world around them.
