David and I adopted our daughter 3 years ago, beautiful Mei Mei who has ASD. Because of her, we live life to the fullest and appreciate all.

Both of us worked at the pool in Fort Riley one summer. The first time we met there was instant chemistry. We would lay out on the roof of the lifeguard shack and talk for hours about anything and everything. We were young and dumb, but loved each other so much that it didn’t matter. We were married a year later, and currently living the “happily ever after!”
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?It’s so hard to choose, we’ve been through so much together. But I suppose it would be the day we shared out on a raft in the middle of a lake! We were stranded and it was getting late, but the current was pushing us further away. We only had one paddle and kept taking turns rowing toward any shore. We made it, but it was several miles away from our car! As we walked hand in hand, neither of us felt the time or distance. As much of a disaster as it was we were happy to go through it together.
What would you do with $20,000?The first thing we would do is buy a service dog for our daughter. She is non verbal and elopes frequently, so having a trained companion around all the time would help keep her safe. We would then take our family on a new adventure somewhere with a beautiful scenery and memories to be made.
