Started as co-workers, became friends, told her "I'm gonna marry you someday." Married her.

We met at work but and became friends. When Lacey decided to move across state to pursue a career change one of our mutual friends arranged a "going away party" at a local bar. Little did we know that it is was actually a set up to get the two of us together. She had too much to drink so I drove her home and walked her to her door. I didn't make any moves, and as I told her later on, that isn't the kind of man I am. About a year later we started dating and we're engaged 6 months after that.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?One day we were driving home in the rain. We were passing by the state park close to where we lived and out of the blue decided we wanted to go swimming. So we pulled off the side of the road and jumped into the river that runs through the park. We swam for about an hour in the river and rain before going home and cooking dinner together.
What would you do with $20,000?Probably fix up our 100 year old house and then use what was left for the honeymoon we never could afford. We ended up having a very small wedding and no real honeymoon due to to useing our wedding fund on attorney fees in order to get guardianship of our 4 neices and nephew after their mother (Lacey's sister) passed away unexpectedly.
