We’re both teachers, foster moms, and best friends. We love each other intensely and allow our friendship to drive our marriage.

Our love story began in college, Minnie claims she heard my voice and knew I was the one. We would randomly see each other around campus, but never spoke, until I had reached out to her via social media. We met the next day and never have left each other’s side since. We graduated college during Covid, didn’t get to graduate (walk) but our families were coming together anyway and so we decided to get married. Best decision we’ve ever made.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory as a couple would be our first cruise together. We spent the entire trip together, laughing as if no one else mattered. We got to do the “titanic” pose at the front of the ship. Being there together, experiencing something together for the first time was truly a magical moment.
What would you do with $20,000?In short term, pay off student loans and get debt free. We are both teachers and foster parents. We spend most of our time, money, and energy on our students/kids. The money will help pay off our debts in order to actually live our lives, and then in turn give back to all of the kids in our lives.
