We were set up by hubby’s cousin when we were teens. We met at 16 but I didn’t really like him. He charmed me with his humor. Although we lived in different cities we stayed in touch even when we both went into the military. We married when I was in the Navy and he was in the Marines.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Over 35 years we have so many wonderful memories. I think one of our favorite is the day we purchased our home. Although we both come from two parent households, we’re the first generation out of the crack era and it both took a toll on our families. Purchasing a home for our 3 boys at 24 was a huge accomplishment. Seeing them run thru the house was heartwarming.
What would you do with $20,000?We are military veterans. We see so many that are in need on a daily basis. We plan to donate our winnings to help organizations that help homeless vets.
