We met in 2nd grade and secretly crushed on each other for years—too shy to admit it. Life took us our separate ways until our mid-20s, when I was living in South Florida and he was training with the Marines in Key West I went to see him, and the rest is history—we were married six months later and living in California. Now with two teenagers and a life full of chaos and adventures, we’re still each other’s biggest crush!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memories are the homecomings over the years. Thomas was overseas for half the year for 10+years, and each return was a special moment. I’d surprise the kids every time, and their joy, the excitement, the tears-those moments of reunion, feeling whole again, are the ones we cherish most as a couple.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d celebrate our son’s high school graduation with an epic surf trip-our family’s favorite hobby. It would mean so much to make these memories together before he leaves for college. And we would use part of the 20k to complete some home renovations we’ve been chipping away at for the past five years. It would help us tremendously to finish the space we envisioned for our family.
