This is each others second marriage, we put in extra work to find each other. We are great communicators and truly understand each other.
We would like to thank you for supporting The Chiavaris in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
It began with a mutual friend that I knew for 20 years, and my future wife had known for 10 years introducing us. Saying “she is exactly what you need, and you are exactly what she needs.” Which lead us to the absolute worst first date of all time. We had such great conversation leading up to the date. I wanted to give her one more chance. And here we are, four years later, with our blended families (she has a 13 year old boy, I have a six year old girl), married & a six month old baby together!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? There are so many memories. We’ve had great vacations, seen amazing concerts, got married, had a child together. I can go on and on. But I think the memories that stick out, are the every day ones. The nights the kids are playing, or fighting, the dog is running around, our baby is chatting it up, there’s no tv on, we’re playing music on our record player. We just look at each other and see the life we created together. From awful first date to this memory is pretty incredible!
What would you do with $20,000?With the arrival of said baby, we have outgrown our current house, and have been trying to sell our house for some time. So we would definitely put the $20k towards moving costs, and some upgrades in our new home when we get there. Maybe sneak in a super fancy date night for mama and dada in there too ;)
