Rick and I met at a chicken wing joint in St. Paul, Minnesota. He hired me on the spot. He was married and I was dating someone. His wife and my boyfriend were not our soul mates. My BF physically abused me and Rick's wife did not value their marriage. My boyfriend left me in the middle of the night. Little did I know I was pregnant. After I found out, I called Rick and told him, "I'm pregnant, will you marry me? I knew he liked me and he said YES immediately! He adopted my son upon arrival!

Going to Jamaica! We had our honeymoon there and have gone back a few times. The birth of our 3 kids and 2 grandkids has been a dream come true. I was picking names for my kids in 6th grade in preparation for being a mom someday. Along with that, we have accomplished dreams that I never imagined. We are also very creative together. There's nothing we cannot do together.

We'd go back to Jamaica and enjoy the real deal tropical escape. Our campsite is great, but there's nothing like the ocean, reggae, sun and tons of fun and relaxation. We always go to the same places, our favorites, and reminisce our wedding and the best times of our life. I hope we make it back there one more time. Rick had a heart attack 3 years ago that required a triple bypass. It was a sign that time is ticking, and we should value every single moment we have together.
