We would like to thank you for supporting Missy and Gabe in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
After a couple of mutual friends introduced us, we started hanging out quite often. We’d spend a lot of time bonding on a dorm room twin bed watching movies on a mini TV screen. Gabe thought he would attempt to have a bachelor lifestyle in college, so he said he didn’t want anything serious. Missy saw right through Gabe and said he wasn’t that type of guy, and presented the ultimatum to stay or go. Thankfully Gabe listened to Missy and realized she’s ALWAYS right! (Missy wrote that last part)
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?As lifelong East Coasters, we wanted to get the full Southern California experience when we visited San Diego. Driving down the highway, we left all the windows open, went 90 miles per hour, and listened to Barracuda by Heart at the loudest possible volume. That rental car took us to cloud nine that day, and San Diego itself fully lived up to the hype! The following day, Gabe would go on to crash that very same rental car, but that’s a story for another day.
What would you do with $20,000?Real answer: Use it to bring down our crushing student loan debt. Dream answer: Buy a soccer mom van to finally fit our whole family into one car!
