I was 35 and in the middle of a divorce. Our friends group were people my ex worked with, so I was left in the dust. At that time AOL was just starting up, everywhere you looked they were giving out disks, and I was curious. I got on, and a little box popped up - "43 Male, California, want to chat?" Sure, what did I have to lose? I wasn't looking for a new relationship, just someone to talk to. It was R "Michael" and he had gone through 4 divorces and wasn't looking either.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?So many! When we first moved in together, and were unpacking our things, I pulled out some Mexican tile trivets I had, and he pulled out the matching tray from his things. That's when we both knew it was meant to be. On a trip to Mexico after, we were shopping at a large tourist place, and I had picked up a vase I loved. He came walking over from the other side with the same vase in his hands. We have lived/worked together 24/7 and very rarely have disagreements.
What would you do with $20,000?Pay off some bills and take a vacation that's just for us. We have traveled but it always involves family, and it would be nice to just go somewhere for us alone.
